I am glad to share something truly special: I have been selected as a torchbearer for the Olympic Flame Journey leading up to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. I’ll be joining the remarkable group of 10,001 torchbearers who will carry the Olympic Flame across Italy, a symbol that embodies values I firmly believe in: passion, energy, talent, and respect.
An Emotion Hard to Describe
When I received the news, I felt a mix of pride, surprise, and gratitude. Being chosen means becoming part of a collective story made up of thousands of different voices and experiences.
The Torch Relay transforms into a shared narrative that brings the entire country closer to the Olympic spirit and being part of that journey means carrying a piece of my own story, and that of my community, along the way.
The Meaning of Carrying the Flame
The Olympic Flame represents what drives us: the courage to take on challenges, to grow, and to believe in our potential. Being able to carry it, even for a short stretch, is an immense honor.
I like to think that in that moment, I won’t be running alone. I will be carrying with me everyone who has inspired me, supported me, and walked alongside me throughout my journey.
Waiting for My Official Stage
December 30, 2025, is the date of my relay segment. Further details will be announced in the coming days, as will those relating to all the torchbearers, but all are top secret!
The anticipation makes it all even more exciting. Whatever stage I’m assigned, I already know it will be a moment I will treasure forever.
